Human Resources Clerk, Part-Time

The duties, tasks, and responsibilities -

  • Estimate the earnings of employees by making reference to their yearly salary time sheet to find out the number of hours spent in working
  • Prepare and submit payroll (Ceridian payroll system)
  • Ensure checks are endorsed and authenticated by the manager
  • Carry out computations from time sheets
  • Estimate and take into account deductions such as withholding, insurance and union dues, etc
  • Certify that timecards have their right endorsements as at the time of submission
  • Keep payroll records up to date by entering modifications in insurance coverage, deductions, savings, and job title
  • Organize reports by assembling accruals, deductions, taxes, disabilities, nontaxable wages and earnings
  • Find solution to irregularities in payroll by assessing information

Requirements – Qualities – Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the position of Payroll Clerk

  • Minimum of a college degree with sufficient knowledge on operating software and validating information presented
  • Ability to evaluate information with sufficient data entry proficiency
  • Outstanding skills in giving attention to details with display of dexterity in maintaining confidentiality
  • Painstaking in approach, as well as display of outstanding familiarity with reporting tools, as well as ability to use financial software
 

Elementary Educational Assistant, Full-Time
Hawaiian Immersion Charter School, Kāneʻohe

Assists classroom teacher in the Elementary classroom, Hawaiian Language Immersion School 
 
General Experience Requirement:
FLUENT IN THE HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE. Bachelor's degree or completion of college course work.
 
Preferred Experience-  One (1) year of work experience in one or a combination of the following areas: 
(a) provided direct instruction to school-age children and (b) curriculum development.
 
Practice of Hawaiian cultural activities, proficient in reading, science, math to properly assist students in a middle elementary grade classroom.
