Support our Maui Fundraiser!
E KĀKO‘O MAI!
E ho‘olaule‘a kākou i ko Samuel M. Kamakau lā hānau me ke kū‘ai maila i kēia mau palule-t kūikawā!
The student council and admin team offer our families and supporters an opportunity to celebrate Samuel M Kamakauʻs birthday (Oct. 29, 1815) by purchasing these "Aloha Nui Iā Lahaina" shirts.
Designed by Ka‘iwa Foster (2024), concept by Ma‘aloa Pūnua, and styling by Kumu Paoa McElroy (2012), this is our fundraiser shirt to continue our support and aloha for Lahainaluna High School (Samuel M. Kamakauʻs alma mater) nearly one year after the deadly fires.
With the support of our friends at Kula Threads, $6.00 of every shirt will be donated to Lahainaluna with direct impact for their growing papahana kaiapuni program as well as their school library (aptly named in honor of Samuel M Kamakau). We honor Lahaina, ka malu ‘ulu o Lele (nō e ka ‘oi) and hope youʻll be inspired too! Aloha nui e ka ‘ohana kula.
